Here’s a clip from Powered Up, Clarkson’s latest ‘stocking filler’ DVD for Top Gear fans needing a fix before the new series returns. The walking ashtray lines up McLaren’s new MP4-12C alongside the epic Porsche 911 GT2 RS for a little drag race. It’s really hilarious how he keeps referring to the Porsche as a “Volkswagen” and remarks that no Volkswagen would ever beat the McLaren. But, of course, we know different…

Also, we seem to remember a certain Autocar video showing a Porsche 911 GT3 RS doing a good job of keeping up with the McLaren – even though it costs half as much.
