Following on from yesterday’s preview images, TC Concepts has provided us with more information regarding its menacing ‘Toxique’ body kit for Audi’s R8 supercar.
Limited to just 25 sets, the body styling program includes a replacement front bumper, side skirts, mirror caps, complete rear fenders with integrated intakes and flared wheel arches. Around the rear the new bumper, which lines up neatly with the wider arches, features larger vents with single fins and an aggressive diffuser. The twin 160 mm tailpipes complete the look.
As well as the kit, TC Concepts also offers a stainless steel cat-back exhaust with valve flaps, R8 GT LED rear light clusters, a raised rear wing, and a choice of H&R springs or adjustable coilover suspension.
Those substantial wheels are also TC Concept’s own creation, and measure 8.5 x 20-inches on the front and 10.5 x 20-inches on the rear.
Inside the cabin, there’s an extensive carbon fibre trim package which includes the sill plates, dashboard sections, steering wheel, seats, door panels and centre console.
TC points out that every part of the kit uses OEM mounting points and could be fitted ‘easily’ by any mechanic within two days. Prices begin at € 9,800 for the kit constructed from a glass fibre/carbon fibre mix, rising to € 16,800 if you desire complete carbon fibre.
