Lamborghini has released a handful of images showing its extreme Sesto Elemento and Veneno stretching their legs around Vallelunga prior to the Super Trofeo World Final this weekend.

The stripped-down Sesto Elemento tips the scales at just 999 kilograms and uses the 419 kW (570 hp) V10 engine and all-wheel-drive layout from the company’s 1,340 kg Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera. With a power-to-weight ratio of just 1.75 kilograms per hp, 100 km/h appears in just 2.5 seconds with top speed surpassing the 300 km/h mark.

The equally-nutty Veneno uses a revised version of the Aventador’s 6.5-litre V12, featuring enlarged intake paths, optimized thermodynamics and a modified exhaust system with lower back pressure. Developing 552 kW (750 hp) which sends power to all four wheels via a seven-speed ISR transmission, 100 km/h appears in just 2.8 seconds with top speed working out at 355 km/h (221 mph).
