Automobili Lamborghini America delivered the first Gallardo LP560-4 to Benny Caiola, Jr., noted Italian car enthusiast and collector, this week at his home outside of New York City. The all-new 560 horsepower LP560-4, which replaces the previous Gallardo model, features a powerful new engine, permanent four-wheel drive system and an 18 percent reduction in fuel consumption and C02 emissions.

Leading automotive coating specialist Zircotec has been selected by Automobili Lamborghini to supply a new thermal barrier for its one million Euro Reventon car. Zircotec’s plasma-sprayed Diamond Black coating is applied to the exhaust and inhibits heat transfer from the tailpipe protecting heat sensitive components from damage.

Lamborghini has released this promo featuring its sweet Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. The 560bhp 5.2L V10 combined with a 20 kilogram reduction in weight helps the LP560-4 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and 200 km/h in 11.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. Here’s Lamborghini’s new commercial for the Gallardo LP560-4. The enlarged (5.2L) V10 now churns out 552bhp: enough to launch the LP560-4 to 62mph in 3.7 seconds before topping out at 202mph. External differences include news headlamps (with Audi-style LED running lights), more angular front air intakes and a rear end that sports new taillamps, updated exhaust outlets, and a revised bumper and diffuser. Just twenty will be built.

Premier4509â„¢ has added the Lamborghini Gallardo to their lineup of aero kits for exotic vehicles. The latest release from the company features aerodynamic enhancing redesigns for the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and rear spoiler. The Italian manufacturer of luxury sports cars Automobili Lamborghini SpA, based in Sant’ Agata Bolognese, has achieved a further record year’s financial results. In the 2007 fiscal year (December 31), the company has surpassed all key objectives for deliveries, sales and net profit. 2007 marks the sixth consequent record year for Lamborghini.

We’re guessing (hoping) that this is some form of early April fools joke. Within the ‘Merchandising’ section of Lamborghini’s official site, is this rather tasteful sick-bag featuring the company logo. They seem to be permanently out of stock, and we’ve scoured eBay for one (used or unused…) but with no success, so we’re guessing it’s a hoax.
Those crazzzyyy guys…
