Berlin tuning house MEC Design has released images of its SLS AMG program displayed here on this Roadster model.
The aero package consists of a replacement front bumper with either a one or two-piece spoiler and optional LED daytime running lights, side skirts, a boot lid spoiler and rear bumper with a choice of Extreme, Formula or GT3 diffuser section. The spoilers and diffuser can be specified in clear-coated carbon fibre, if that’s your bag.
MEC can also supply its coilover suspension set-up with hydraulic height adjustment, allowing a drop of up to 70 mm and a set of its mecxtreme3 alloys, which measure 10.5 × 20 and 11.5 x 21-inches and come wrapped in 275/30 ZR 20 and 295/25 ZR 21 tyres, while beneath the hood the changes include a carbon fibre air box and stainless steel exhaust system.
Interior modifications rely on the presence of leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre, with the steering wheel, console, sill plates and seating all receiving a makeover.
