RENM Performance has released details of its stunning Lamborghini Gallardo STS-700 program, promising the closest thing to a road legal Blancpain Super Trofeo race car.
Based on the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, RENM fits the 5.2-litre V10 with titanium rods, custom billet pistons and a crankshaft with raised compression ratio. It also receives custom billet camshafts, larger titanium valves, modified ports, uprated injectors and a valve-controlled titanium exhaust system, weighing just 11 kg. Those changes result in an output of 522 kW (700 hp), enough for a 0-100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed in excess of 330 km/h (205 mph).
Chassis upgrades comprise of a carbon ceramic brake kit, widened wheel track, Ohlins three-way fully adjustable dampers and adjustable front anti-roll bar and wishbone suspension links.
Other additions include a carbon fibre aero package, magnesium racing wheels with racing tyres, a roll-cage and Alcantara-trimmed lightweight race seats with harnesses.
