Auto Bild looks at the 2012 BMW M3 DTM

When BMW’s new M3 DTM car made its official track début at Hockenheim Circuit, along with its 2012 rivals, Germany’s Auto Bild was there to get a good look around it. Powered by a 480 hp V8 engine, the M3 DTM hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds, while top speed is around 300 km/h (186 mph).

ALMS champion Joey Hand has just made the switch to the DTM series, joining Andy Priaux, Augusto Farfus, Bruno Spengler and 2011 Champion Martin Tomczyk, meaning one more seat is up for grabs…
