Obergartzem tuning specialist mcchip-dkr has announced details of what it can do for Mercedes A 45 AMG owners.
The company’s Stage One option utilizes a simple ECU software upgrade, which sees output from the AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine climb from 265 kW (360 hp) and 450 Nm of torque to 294 kW (400 hp) and 535 Nm, while Stage Two sees the addition of sports catalysts to bump the power figure up to 309 kW (420 hp). Stage Three involves all of the above plus the fitment of an uprated twin-scroll turbocharger unit, which results in 331 kW (450 hp) and 550 Nm.
Finally, the A 45 AMG receives a KW Clubsport coilover suspension kit and a set of mbDesign’s 19-inch KV1 alloy wheels covered in 235/35 Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres.
