Volkswagen Design Vision GTI
According to reports, Volkswagen is planning a replacement for the company’s outmoded VR6 engine.

Based on the powerplant in the Design Vision GTI, which uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0 V6-TSI unit developing 375 kW (503 hp) and a maximum torque figure of 560 Nm, production versions will develop between 254 kW (340 hp) and 336 kW (450 hp) when they appear in the Passat, the CC and forthcoming CrossBlue SUV, which is due to appear in 2015.
