BMW Japan has revealed details of the limited edition BMW M5 Nighthawk.
Based on the M5 Competition Package, meaning it has 423 kW (575 hp) and 680 Nm of torque at its disposal, along with such goodies as dedicated steering, suspension and damping settings, a lower ride height and upgraded exhaust system, the Nighthawk can be identified by its BMW Individual Frozen Black Matt paintwork, matte black 20-inch M forged alloy wheels, special black kidney grilles, side gills, door handles and tail pipes. An M carbon-ceramic brake system and adaptive LED headlights also come as standard.
Moving inside, the cabin features Sakiru Orange Merino leather on the seats, door panels, centre console and instrument panel, along with an BMW M Performance carbon interior trim package. Each car also receives its own exclusive plaque.
Priced at ¥18,200,000 (€141,250) before taxes, the M5 Nighthawk will be limited to ten left-hand drive units throughout August, with the names of any other interested parties being put into a lottery. Deliveries will begin in October.
