Audi A1 quattro v ur-quattro

Audi quattro drag race
This new video from Auto Express sees the magazine’s Owen Mildenhall look to the past at Audi’s legendary ur-quattro to see how it compares with the company’s limited edition A1 quattro.

The A1 is propelled by the company’s delightful 2.0 TFSI engine, which develops 188 kW (256 hp) and 350 Nm of torque, while its 1991 sibling uses that delicious 20-valve five-cylinder, producing 162 kW (217 hp) and 308 Nm, enough for 230 km/h (143 mph) top speed.

As a bonus, there’s also a drag race between the A1 and Hannu Mikkola’s 1986 Group B rally car. Which one would you put your money on?
