knitting Bulli
Taking practicality to a whole new level, this VW Bulli has got its knitted sweater on for the winter.

The idea for this project was thunk up by employees over at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, who appealed on the internet for knitters all around the world to assist them on their mission. Using up 250 kilometres of wool weighing in at 23 kg (50 pounds), the mammoth task took a total of 2,500 working hours to complete.

The colourful T3 is currently on display until the end of March at the Volkswagen Auto Museum, which is located in close proximity to Volkswagen’s Autostadt.
