Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition

Following on from last year’s concept car, Volkswagen is to reveal its Beetle Fender Edition at this month’s motor show in Leipzig.

Powered by the company’s 149 kW (200 hp) 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine, all Fender Edition vehicles are finished in Deep Black Metallic paint and wear brushed chrome mirrors, exclusive 18-inch ‘Disc’ alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights, and the unmistakeable Fender logo.

Giving the car its name is the concert-quality Fender Premium Audio System, which includes a 400 Watt 10-channel amplifier, four Deluxe Tweeters, two 20 cm Twin Speakers, two 16 mm Rear Speakers and a 20 cm Bassman Subwoofer.

The Beetle Fender Edition will hit European dealerships before reaching America in the fall of 2012. Pricing is yet to be announced. We’re really liking this car, particularly that Sunburst paintwork on the dashboard.
