Along with the ACS6 Coupe, AC Schnitzer will also be débuting its new program for BMW’s latest 1 Series model at this year’s Essen Motor Show.
Visually, the ACS1 features a lower front spoiler, tailgate-mounted wing, chromed “Racing” exhaust tailpipe trim and black loading lip protection film for the top of the rear bumper. A choice of wheel styles are on offer, including the company’s 19-inch Type VIII alloys. They are available in a bi-colour finish, as are the Type IV rims, which can also be specified in silver and 18-inch diameter. The suspension spring kit provides a 25 mm drop in ride height.
Performance upgrades see the output from the diesel-engined 118d jump from 105 kW (143 hp) to 126 kW (171 hp), while the 120d goes from 135 kW (184 hp) to 154 kW (210 hp).
Interior trim options include a “Black Line” aluminium gear knob, handbrake sleeve, pedal and footrest kit, and iDrive controller cover. There’s also a leather trimmed gear knob with a digital gear display on the top and embossed velour floor mats.
