SEAT has tweaked its Exeo and Exeo ST models for 2012. Still basically the old Audi A4, the Exeo receives new bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, honeycomb grilles and LED rear light clusters. The makeover also includes newly-designed alloy wheels – in 17 and 18-inch diameter.
All common-rail TDI models enjoy reduced fuel consumption as well as a cut in CO2 emissions of around 7 g/km, meaning the 88 and 105 kW (120 and 143 hp) saloons fitted manual transmission dip below the 130 g/km mark. Combined fuel consumption drops to 5.2L/100km (5.3L/100km on the ST).
The more powerful models in the range – the 147 kW (200 hp) 2.0 TSI and 105 kW (143 hp) 2.0 TDI – are available with a multitronic transmission featuring flappy paddle gear shifters.
If you’re the type who gets all nostalgic about the B7 A4 get yourself down to your local SEAT dealership. It’ll be like picking up an 18-year old Angelina Jolie.
