For the first time since its revival in 2000, the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters – German Touring car Masters) racing series will be having a round in France this year.
The famous Bugatti-circuit in Le Mans will be hosting the ninth and penultimate round of this year’s championship. Twenty uber-touring cars (ten each from Audi and Mercedes-Benz) with powerful V8 powerplants and world-famous drivers such as Jean Alesi, Mika Häkkinen, Heinz-Harald Frentzen and seven times Le Mans 24 Hours-winner, Tom Kristensen, can be watched in action at the borders of the Sarthe river.
