300 BHP Volkswagen Polo GTI From B&B

B&B have developed a range of tuning options for the zippy VW Polo GTI Edition.
The VW & AUDI tuning company have created a little monster out of the baby GTI, extracting as much as 300 bhp from its 1.8 Turbo unit.
The entry level option gives a useful 210 bhp, which is achieved with some remapping of the management system. The top of the tree ‘EVO R Stage’ yields an impressive 300 bhp, but the engine is unrecognisable compared to the standard item.
To create that type of power, B&B exchange your powerplant, for a totally reworked unit, wearing new pistons, rods, cylinder head and a larger turbo. The charge cooler and injection system are also heavily breathed on.
Thanks to the upgrade, the Polo can now reach 62 mph in 5.8 seconds and hit a (limited) top speed of 156 mph.
The 18 inch wheel option and muscular body styling back up the Polo’s punch.
