Brabus have bulked up the Mercedes SL-Class, turning it into a bit of an animal.
The German tuners have equipped the SL with their Sv12 S Biturbo monster powerplant. Churning out an incredible 730 bhp the SL hits 62 mph in just 4 seconds, 142 mph in 10.9 seconds and keeps steaming ahead until it reaches 217 mph.
The colossal power is achieved by Brabus thanks to enlarging the 5.5L to 6.3L, special cams turning in re-worked cylinder heads. The pair of larger turbochargers also enter into the equation.
Underneath, the car is electronically lowered by 15mm, while the brakes have swollen to 375 mm discs gripped by 12 piston calipers at the front, while the rear receives 355 mm discs slowed down by a pair of six pots. The brakes are hidden by a a choice of wheels (available upto 20 inch diameter.)
