9ff Out To Reclaim Record

9ff are setting their sights on regaining the world record they lost to Bugatti, with their own car.
Their weapon of choice will be an awesome carbon fibre bodied, tube chassis 900 bhp powerhouse, loosely based on the legendary Porsche GT1. The attempt will be made at the Nardo circuit in September. If 9ff’s previous projects are anything to go by, we wouldn’t bet against them eclipsing the Veyron’s slingshot-like 252.95 mph benchmark.
Expect 9ff’s output to increase, once they’ve moved into their new Dortmund factory.
They’re now officially classed as car manufacturers, rather than car tuners, so hopefully we’ll see more creation’s along the lines of their ‘GT1’.
