Mercedes-Benz USA Announce Record Sales

MBUSA have just announced record breaking sales figures.
The company sold 20,802 vehicles in June 2006, meaning a 14% rise compared to last June. This brings total sales for the first half of this year to 114,935, the highest in the company’s history.
June saw a mammoth 81% leap in sales of their flagship model, the S Class. Roadster models (SL & SLK Class) saw a 23.4% rise.
The Mercedes luxury truck range (M, R, GL & G Class) saw an impressive 74.6% increase over last Junes figures and an astonishing 97.9% boost in sales for the first half of this year, compared to the same period twelve months ago.
Upto and including 2005, MBUSA has shown twelve consecutive years of growth. Looks like history’s going to be repeating itself.
