Supercharged Audi A8 From JE

JE have given the A8 a 500 bhp sting in the tail.

The German tuning specialists have used a supercharger to give the heavyweight V8 saloon a mighty 500 bhp. Along with the ‘charger, the power upgrade also involves a water cooled intercooler, forged pistons, a new exhaust (from the manifold back) and a re-worked engine management system.

This adds up to some very respectable figures, with a 0-62 mph time of 5.2 seconds, then onto a top speed of 188 mph. Even more impressive when you consider that the A8 weighs in at a hefty two tons!

The aerodynamic side of the program includes a front spoiler, with larger intakes to aid cooling. A pair of sill extensions give the A8 a ‘lower’ effect. Around the rear there’s a spoiler and lower diffuser.

The suspension is lowered by 35mm, and a set of gigantic 21 inch rims, complete the package.
