America To Get BMW Diesels

BMW have released plans to sell their diesel powered cars in the States.
The Bavarian manufacturer has announced (from the British International Motor Show) this week that their diesel range will be available by 2008.
A urea based additive system will be utilised in order to meet strict emission levels, making the car acceptable in all 50 states. With the current crop of diesel cars reaching new highs in refinement, their popularity is greater than ever.
Virtually all European manufacturers have a range of diesel vehicles and their ‘rattly’ image is long gone. There’s very little difference in noise when compared to a petrol driven car, yet the smallest engined diesel 5 series can still return almost 40 mpg.
The diesels are taking over!
