  • Mo My Ride Run

Here’s the latest video from supercar stalker Shmee150, this time featuring a bunch of his Hoonigan friends around London, but it was all for a good cause – Movember. Southampton’s Louis Karsenbarg decided he wanted to do something that combined the annual event with his passion for everything automotive.

Mo My Ride is a great way to support this worthwhile campaign, raising vital funds and awareness for men’s health, focusing on prostate and testicular cancer. If you’re not able to grow your own moustache, put one on your car – and get involved. This is a horrendous disease.

  • Porsche Panamera Coupe rendered

Armenian artist Tigran Lalayan has created a handful of renderings of what he calls a 929, but what we’d term a Porsche Panamera Coupe.

Sitting on 918 Spyder Concept wheels, Tigran has clearly taken inspiration from a few vehicles, but mainly the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept. We can also pick out elements of the popular 928 in its roofline, and a touch of Citroën’s DS3 supermini with that ‘shark fin’ B-pillar. The aggressive carbon fibre intakes and side gills are a nice touch, too.

Other than wearing livery usually associated with the Galácticos, the white and blue is pure racecar, right down to its 419 kW (570 HP) 5.2-litre V10 engine. It also features the new lights seen on the refreshed 2013 R8.

When it came to the road cars, the majority of the the team opted for an Audi Q7, including Ricardo Carvalho, Kakà and Michael Essien, while boss Jose Mourinho bucked the trend with an A8 and Cristiano Ronaldo picked up the keys to an R8. As you would.

  • Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force surfaces

Mercedes-Benz has revealed its vision of how a G-Class of tomorrow may look, with the Ener-G-Force concept.

Developed to satisfy this year’s Los Angeles Design Challenge to find the ‘Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025’, the remit was for an environmentally friendly vehicle that could go anywhere it need to – regardless of the situation.

Created at the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in California, the Ener-G-Force sits on fat 20-inch wheels and sports organic-looking styling, including a bold radiator grille and G-shaped LED-infused headlights, fender-mounted indicators, rugged arch extensions and roof-mounted emergency lights.

Propelling the SUV are four wheel-hub motors powered by energy packs – which can vary their output independently to suit the terrain – mounted within the side skirts with lights that change colour to indicate their operating and charging status. Recycled water tanks on the roof feed the vehicle’s hydro-tech converter, which provides electricity for the batteries.

Helping our brave officers to find those donut shops in hard-to-reach areas, is a roof-mounted 360-degree topography Terra-Scan scanner, which constantly surveys the surrounding area and changes the suspension’s spring and damper rates to maintain optimum traction.

“The Ener-G-Force is the vision of an off-roader that, while reflecting tomorrow’s adventures, also invokes the genes of the Mercedes-Benz off-road icon, the G model. Modern and cool, it could also be a clue about a new beginning for the off-road design idiom of Mercedes-Benz,” said the company’s Director of Design, Gorden Wagener.

We like it, but we’d be surprised if the next G-Class looks anything other than the current one. Except for a set of restyled daytime running lights.
