Following on from last year’s Cayman S honouring two million Facebook fans, Porsche has created a unique 911 Carrera 4S to celebrate reaching the five million mark.
Back in February, the Stuttgart giant asked its followers to design a fitting tribute to the achievement before the result was brought to fruition by the experts at Porsche Exclusive.
Sitting on sport suspension, the exclusive machine has been painted in Aqua Blue and features white 20-inch alloy wheels. The body has been fitted with a Aerokit Cup, which consists of a front lip with additional air intakes and a raised rear wing that attaches to the factory item.
Along with bespoke stripes down the flanks acknowledging the milestone, the interior continues the theme with the brushed aluminium dashboard trim and back-lit sill plates engraved with the sentence Personally built by 5 Million Porsche Fans.
Apart from the fitment of a sports exhaust the 991’s engine remains standard, meaning a 3.8-litre unit with direct injection that develops 294 kW (400 hp) and 440 Nm of torque and allows a 0-100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds and a 299 km/h top speed.
Although not for sale, Porsche is running a competition for the chance to get behind the wheel of it at the Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.
