Bülach-based tuning company Sportec has revealed its program for BMW’s potent 1 Series M Coupe Coupe.

Powered by a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six developing 246 kW (335 hp) and 450 Nm of torque in standard form, Sportec’s Stage 1 program uses remapped ECU software to take output to 287 kW (385 hp) and 600 Nm, while the Stage 2 option, which sees the inclusion of a new air filter, and exhaust system with downpipes and sports cat, results in 313 kW (420 hp) and 685 Nm. Those tweaks mean 100 km/h happens in just 4.3 seconds and 200 km/h appears in 15.5 seconds.

The 1M has also been fitted with Öhlins springs and dampers and a set of 19-inch Sportec SP10 alloy wheels. We’re loving the 2002 turbo-style decals too.
