Here’s a video from Autoblog in the Netherlands, featuring two heavy-hitters from Stuttgart: Porsche’s epic 959 and the 911 Turbo S. Both packing twin-turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engines and four-wheel-drive, the 997 develops 395 kW (530 hp) from its 3.8-litres and hits 100 km/h in a mere 3.3 seconds, while the 331 kW (444 hp) 2.85-litre 959, which was built between 1986 and 1989, isn’t far behind with a time of 3.7 s. First built as a Group B rally car and later as a street legal production car to meet FIA homologation regulations, the 959 continuously demonstrates just how ahead of its time it was.
