Sportec Porsche 997 Turbo

Swiss based tuners Sportec have released this animal into the public – the SPR1.
Having received a completely new exhaust system, a little engine management tweaking and a couple of King Kong sized turbo’s, the SPR1 produces (sit down for this…) 800 bhp. This equates to a 3 second gallop to 62 mph and 124 mph coming up in a mental 8.7 seconds. Sportec’s claim of a slightly illegal 235 mph top speed seem pretty realistic too.
The 911 sits on an “electrically adjustable high-performance chassis”, while the enlarged brakes are hidden behind a set of forged 20 inch anthracite rims that look like they’ve been lifted straight off a Nissan Skyline.
Judging by the ‘style’ of the carbon/kevlar composite body parts, Sportec really should stick to upgrading engines.
Who needs a Veyron?
(I do)
