Audi TT 2.0 T-FSI

The motoring world seems to have been waiting an eternity for Audi’s newly redesigned TT to surface. It was never going to be easy replacing what is obviously a design classic, but it looks as though they’ve got it just right.
Their range is topped with the 3.2 litre V6, but this Golf GTI engined front wheel drive version is certainly no slouch, hitting 60 mph in just 6.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 149 mph.
In the styling department, Audi have gone for evolution rather than revolution bringing the TT bang up to date , yet losing none of it’s original appeal.
The cleverest part of the redesign is the body layout. It features a mixture of aluminium and steel to give the car much better weight distribution, making it more driver focused, also making the shell an extra 50% stiffer over its predecessor. Couple this with the option of Magnetic Ride adaptive suspension and the body roll and ride comfort are improved even more.
The 2.0 T-FSI is supplied without the Quattro four wheel drive system, yet grip is still very impressive with drive from just the front wheels, making for a very agile package.
