Audi have announced details of the new ‘sportier and quicker’ S3.
The new S3 will be pulled along by their 2.0 TFSI powerplant, described by Audi as “aggressively hard-hitting, free-revving and with a sonorous acoustic profile”, but all you need to know is that it pushes out a handy 261 bhp providing a 0-62 mph time of 5.7 seconds and onto a limited 155 mph top speed.
Here’s a cool clip of the Mercedes SLK 55 AMG Black Series being put through its paces. It’s worth watching just to hear that glorious sounding 400 bhp V8.

The guys at LeftLaneNews are running some great spy photos of the newly named VW Tiguan which have emerged this week.
Volkswagen recently released sketches of the new baby SUV, but these photos give a better idea of how the finished article might look.
Production of the Tiguan will start next year in Wolfsburg, with it arriving in our showrooms by as early as 2008.
