  • Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate by SCP

Steinbach-based bodywork and paint specialist SCP has created this S211 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate to satisfy a customer’s requests.

Firstly, a pair of AMG bumpers were fitted to the wagon, with the front item receiving a piano black cup spoiler. The wheel arches were then subtly widened by around 1.5 cm in order to house those monster PP-Exklusiv Crownjewel rims, which measure 10.5 and 11.5 x 20-inches and come wrapped in 235/30-20 and 265/25-20 Hankook tyres. Other visual changes include LED upgrades for the tinted head lights and rear clusters and a full Electric Yellow Metallic matte foil wrap applied by the guys at Cam Shaft in Kempen.

Mechanical upgrades include a K&N air filter and stainless steel exhaust system with quadruple tailpipes, while the 7 cm drop in ride height is achieved thanks to KAW springs and Bilstein B8 sports dampers up front and custom made B6 items on the rear.

  • Audi S6 ‘3.7 seconds’ commercial [complete with S8 footage…]

Looks like someone at Audi of America dropped a boo-boo. This new commercial, featuring the company’s 309 kW (420 hp) S6, highlights the fact that Car and Driver named it the “The World’s Best Sedan” over the M5 and E 63 AMG, and also managed to sling it from 0-60 in a mere 3.7 seconds. We’re still not sure how an S8 managed to wangle its way onto the screen, though…

  • Chris Harris in the Panamera Diesel

This brand new video from DRIVE sees Chris Harris eat his words after previously dismissing the concept of a diesel-engined Porsche Panamera. Developing a respectable 184 kW (250 hp) and 550 Nm of torque from its 3.0 TDI V6 powerplant, there appears to be enough grunt to keep Mister Harris happy – and sideways. Obviously.

  • Porsche Cayenne S Diesel

Porsche has released details of a new diesel-powered Cayenne with the kind of credentials to match its fantastic GTS model.

Powered by the company’s 4.2-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the Cayenne S Diesel has an impressive 284 kW (381 hp) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal, enough for a 0-100 km/h time of 5.7 seconds, and a top speed of 252 km/h (157 mph). The auto start/stop function – a first in the V8 diesel SUV segment, helps to achieve a consumption figure of 8.3 l/100 km and emissions of 218 g/km CO2, while its 100-litre fuel tank allows a range of 1,200 kilometres (745 miles) between top-ups.
