  • H&R BMW 1 Series M Coupe

The guys at H&R Springs, over in Bellingham, have been busy putting this BMW 1 Series M Coupe project together, highlighting components on offer for the 246 kW (335 hp) pocket rocket.

Naturally, the 1M sits on a set of H&R Sport Springs, which drop the Coupe by 30 mm on the front and 15 mm at the rear, while the company’s anti-roll bars – sized 27 mm and 23 mm – enhance stability in the corners. Other chassis changes include a Brembo GT Big Brake Kit with 380 mm cross-drilled discs on the front and rear along with a set of blue calipers.

Visually, the car wears body graphics, European-spec headlights and a set of three-piece, centre-locking Forgeline Concave Series RB3C wheels, measuring 9 and 11 x 19-inches and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres.

  • Limited edition Carlsson C25 for China

Merzig-based Mercedes-Benz tuning specialist Carlsson has announced details of a limited edition version of its muscular-looking C25 Super GT model for the Chinese market.

Using the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG as a base, the C25 features a hand-crafted carbon fibre body which helps to shed 180 kg from the original vehicle’s weight. Distinctive key points include restyled front and rear lights and side windows, along with a noticeably elongated hood, aggressive fascia with enlarged air intakes, monster side gills and imposing, quadruple tailpipes.

The major difference between this C25 LE and the regular C25 is under the hood. While the previously-seen car was powered by a titanic, twin-turbocharged 554 kW (753 hp) V12 unit, this version uses a slightly saner V8 powerplant producing 312 kW (418 hp).

Just eight examples will be built, with numbers 1-3 and 5-8 already spoken for. Customers were able to choose their desired specification, with options such as carbon ceramic brakes and Carlsson’s C-Tronic suspension system, which allows adjustment via the driver’s iPhone, available.

If you’re interested in purchasing the last car, check your bank account for a not unsubstantial 4,000,000 RMB (€ 512,769) first.
