  • BMW 328i by iND and 3D Design


    Palatine-based tuning specialist iND Distribution has put this F30 3 Series project together, highlighting its wares.

    Based on an Imperial Blue 328i Sport Line model, the Saloon uses a urethane lower front lip from the Japanese company, 3D Design, while the gloss black front grille sections, front reflectors and lower whiskers are from iND. Other goodies include a set of BBS CH-R wheels, measuring 8.5 and 9.5×19-inches, a BMW M Performance brake upgrade and a H&R sport spring kit.

    Future changes include an Eisenmann exhaust system, a more serious suspension set-up and a 3D Design roof spoiler and boot lid lip – just as soon as they make their journey across the globe. Watch this space.

  • Wide-track BMW X6 previewed by Kahn Design


    Bradford-based styling specialist Kahn Design has shared this solitary teaser image of its new wide-track program for the BMW X6 with us.

    Apart the the flared wheels arch extensions and side skirts, we can see an aggressive front bumper with voluminous air intakes, a ventilated replacement hood and a set of the company’s RS-XF alloy wheels, which are available in sizes up to 11 x 22-inches.

  • 2013 Audi R8 V10 Spyder spotted


    The 2013 Audi R8 range was only announced towards the end of last month, but supercar fanatic NM2255 has already spotted this example, on German plates, in northern Sardinia’s beautiful coastal area of Costa Smeralda.

    The stunning V10-engined Spyder has 386 kW (525 hp) and 530 Nm (391 lb/ft) at its disposal, enough to achieve a 0-100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds and a 313 km/h (194 mph) top speed. Audi has got this facelift just right.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG HPE700 by Hennessey Performance


    Texas-based tuning specialist Hennessey Performance has released details of its program for the hairy Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG.

    The HPE700 upgrade package consists of an optimized HPE air induction system, recalibrated ECU software, a dynamometer run and badging for the exterior, interior and engine cover. As the name suggests, the changes result in impressive figures of 522 kW (700 hp) and 1,085 Nm (800 lb/ft) of torque from the 5.5-litre V8 Biturbo lump.

    Further components on offer include a range of alloy wheels, suspension kits and carbon fibre aero pieces.

  • Porsche Museum Secrets: Part 2


    Thankfully, we haven’t had to wait too long for part 2 of the Porsche Museum Secrets series, which offers a look behind the scenes of this exclusive new storage facility.

    Special editions contained in the collection include a bulletproof 996, prototype 928 Convertible and the 984 – a Boxster predecessor from 1984, but we really like the recently-discovered 924 which features highly-aerodynamic bodywork designed to help it to compete in world record endurance events. Powered by a turbocharged, intercooled engine, it was built over 35 years ago. Sadly, the project was shelved due to Porsche deeming it not competitive enough against Mercedes. Enjoy.

  • Berg Cup Golf shakedown


    Here’s a sneak preview of Thomas Nöst’s Berg Cup Mk2 Volkswagen Golf, in its latest guise, during a shakedown. No details of Nöst’s updated machine have been released but, after a break of a year, we can see that the bodywork has received wider arches, a Mk3 front bumper with VR6 spoiler and a massive diffuser. Plus, we’re guessing that the 1.9-litre 16V turbo engine is developing more than the 285 kW (383 hp) and 508 Nm that it was producing in 2010. Turn your speakers up, now.
