  • DMC Lamborghini Aventador LP988 Edizione GT

    Duesseldorf tuner DMC has previewed its forthcoming LP988 Edizione GT program to suit the Lamborghini Aventador.

    A more extreme version of the company’s Molto Veloce kit, the Edizione-GT carbon fibre aero package consists of a front spoiler with air intakes and canards, side skirt extensions, a herculean diffuser and tunnel, and a raised motorsport rear wing. There’s also a Veneno-inspired rear panel with triangular cut-outs accommodating the re-routed tailpipes.

    As the name implies, the Aventador has received a performance upgrade resulting 726 kW (988 HP) from the 6.5-litre V12. DMC is yet to reveal how it arrives at that figure, but we do know that its LP900 package ditches the factory injection system in favour of 12 separate single intake throttle plates, uprated fuel pumps and nozzles and optimized ECU software.

  • Porsche Carrera GT aerial symphony

    This new video from eGarage provides an elevated perspective of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT as it stretches its legs around the Washington countryside.

    Built between 2004–2007 in Leipzig, the GT is propelled by a 450 kW (612 hp) 5.7 litre V10 engine, which delivers a 324 km/h (201 mph) top speed, a 7:28 Nurburgring time and a stupefying soundtrack.

  • Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG Line

    Mercedes-Benz has released details of an AMG Line version of its brand new C-Class model.

    Visually, the AMG aero package consists of a more aggressive front apron with larger air intakes and chrome lip spoiler, wider side skirts and a rear apron with colour-matched diffuser section. Aluminium window surrounds and a radiator grille with twin louvres in iridium matte silver with chrome inserts completes the look.

    Other upgrades include a sports suspension kit that drops the C-Class by 15 mm, perforated brake discs with embossed calipers and a set of 18-inch AMG five-spoke alloy wheels in a titanium grey/high sheen finish.

    Moving inside, the cabin receives grained aluminium trim imlays, a black headliner, and a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel and AMG gear shift – both covered in Nappa leather with decorative stitching.

  • C 63 AMG Black Series vs XKR-S GT vs V12 Vantage S

    This new video from Autocar features a battle of the super coupes to find out how the Jaguar XKR-S GT and Aston Martin V12 Vantage S conduct themselves against the magazine’s current darling, the Mercedes C 63 AMG Black Series.

    The Mercedes is propelled by that sinewy 6.2-litre V8 engine developing 380 kW (517 hp) and 620 Nm of torque, while the ultra-rare Jaguar XKR-S GT uses a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 boasting 404 kW (542 hp) and 680 Nm. Finally, the Vantage V12 enjoys 421 kW (565 hp) and 620 Nm delivered by a 6.0-litre V12.

  • Manhart BMW M135i

    Geilenkirchen tuning specialist Manhart Racing has released details of its MH1 400 program to suit the BMW M135i.

    Packing a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight six-cylinder, which churns out a delicious 235 kW (320 hp) and 450 Nm of torque in factory guise, Manhart fits its own upgraded turbocharger unit, ECU software and a complete exhaust system with 280-cell catalyst taking output to 294 kW (400 hp) and 561 Nm.

    Chassis upgrades consist of a KW Clubsport coilover suspension kit, 380 mm and 356 mm brake discs gripped by eight and four-piston calipers respectively, while the original wheels have been replaced by Manhart’s Concave ONE alloys measuring 8.5 and 9.5 x 19-inches and wrapped in Michelin SuperSport tyres.

    Aesthetically, the body wears a brushed metal foil wrap along with a carbon fibre front spoiler, mirror casings and diffuser, while the interior is upholstered in a mixture of leather and Alcantara with contrasting yellow stitching.
