The last time we told you about these cool bread-burners, we were bombarded with questions about them. Basically, they were given away to Japanese VW owners. Then (it appears that…) those same people have realised that they can make a nice profit selling them to the western world on your favourite internet auction site.

If we could afford it, we’d be bidding on it (and not telling you about it.)

Judging by the response we had to the VW toaster, we thought you might be interested in this red hot model from Bugatti. The high-rolling bread-burner’s lines, and control dial, have (apparently) been inspired by the company’s early vintage cars.

The toaster comes in a choice of six finishes – stainless steel, cream, black, orange, red and fuchscia pink. Prices start at £148.50.

You may remember us bringing you the VW pop-up toaster article a while back? Well one of our readers, Rick Harrison, has let us know about one he’s obtained. For some reason, now that he’s finally got his hands on one, he’s selling it! He must be crazy.

Not content with designing iconic cars, Stuttgart company Porsche have turned their hand to this toaster. Manufactured by Siemens, it looks like no other bread burner. The housing is made from brushed aluminum and has a “Cool-Touch†feature for safety and operability.

When not in use, the toast slot closes, allowing this device to retain its sleek looks. Turn the toaster on, and the slot opens with a smooth, fluid motion at the touch of a button.
We prefer the VW toaster.
