Obergartzem tuning specialist mcchip-dkr has announced details of its supercharger upgrade for the current Audi RS 5.
Powered by a 4.2 FSI V8 unit which develops 331 kW (450 hp) and 430 Nm of torque as standard, the company’s MC5XX compressor kit can be specified in a choice of three flavours. Priced at €19,999 Stage One includes the supercharger unit, an intercooler and ECU software resulting in 410 kW (550 hp) and 550 Nm.
For €23,999 Stage Two includes sports cats and further software optimization to release 433 kW (580 hp) and 565 Nm, while the final level – costing €26,999 – comprises of a modified compressor for greater manifold pressure and corresponding software. Those tweaks result in 447 kW (600 hp) and 590 Nm.
For all three stages of tune, mcchip-dkr also raises the car’s V-Max to 320 km/h (198 mph).
