BMW X6 M Design Edition announced

BMW X6 M Design Edition
BMW has taken to Facebook to announce details of its new X6 M Design Edition.

Visually the special variant features components from BMW’s M Performance range, including 21-inch light alloy wheels, a front splitter and rear spoiler in carbon fibre and optional body stripes. Black kidney grilles and a black diffuser section complete the aesthetics.

Inside the cabin there’s black Merino leather upholstery throughout with Mugello Red elements and stitching on the seats and dashboard, piano black trim inlays and a special edition plaque on the glovebox lid.

Under the hood is the regular model’s 4.4-litre biturbo V8 powerplant, which develops 408 kW (555 hp) and 680 Nm of torque, allowing a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.7 seconds and a limited top speed of 250 km/h.

Just 100 units will be built, with pricing yet to be announced.
