    Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Edition 507
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the Edition 507 version of its potent C 63 AMG range ahead of its world début at the Geneva Motor Show.

Powered by a revised version of the regular car’s AMG 6.2-litre engine, the forged pistons, connecting rods and lightweight crankshaft have been borrowed from the SLS 63 AMG, resulting in an improved output of 373 kW (507 hp) and 610 Nm of torque – an increase of 37 kW (50 hp) and 10 Nm.

On the road, the Coupe and Saloon versions crack 100 km/h in a Black Series-matching 4.2 seconds (Estate 4.3s), with all three variants limited to a 280 km/h (174 mph) top speed thanks to the inclusion of the AMG Driver’s package.

Other standard features include the high-performance composite braking system with 360 x 36 mm front discs and six and four-piston calipers in red, an aluminium Black Series ventilated hood, darkened headlamps, lightweight 19-inch AMG alloys, gloss black radiator grille and mirror casings, matt graphite grey side stripes and a boot lid spoiler for the Coupe and Saloon. Moving inside, the cabin features designo leather/DINAMICA upholstery, an Alcantara-trimmed AMG performance steering wheel and “Edition 507” badging.

Orders begin this April, with deliveries starting in June. Notable optional extras include a designo magno platinum paint finish, a locking differential, AMG Performance suspension and carbon-fibre/high gloss black piano lacquer-look trim.

FAB Design Porsche Cayenne Emperor II
Hunzenschwil-based FAB Design has revealed details of the Emperor II program to suit Porsche’s Cayenne SUV.

Set to make its official début at next month’s Geneva International Motor Show, the body package, which adds 130 mm to the width of the vehicle, comprises of a front spoiler with oversized air intakes, a ventilated carbon fibre hood, wheel arch and sill extensions and a carbon rear apron with integrated diffuser. Pricing for the kit is €16,490 (plus shipping).

Filling the spacious arches is a new set of alloy wheels, which measure 10 and 12 x 22-inches and come wrapped in 265/35 and 305/30 Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres, while the Cayenne can be dropped by 45 mm thanks to the suspension module. Moving inside, FAB’s upholstery department provides bespoke interiors to suit the owner’s tastes, using such materials as leather Alcantara, wood and carbon fibre.

Performance upgrades are available for all engines, including the brawny Cayenne S Diesel, which receives remapped ECU software, a sports air filter and complete exhaust system with quadruple trapezoidal tailpipes. Those tweaks release an additional 35 kW (48 hp) and 80 Nm of torque, allowing a 5.4 second sprint to 100 km/h and top speed of 257 km/h (157 mph).
