It’s felt like an eternity since Chris Harris put out some content for the exceedingly popular DRIVE channel, but the release of this preview clips means we only have to wait another seven days.

The footage shows Monkey behind the wheel of a stunning Singer 911, getting a little sideways in the California high desert. The carbon fibre-bodied reimagined machines are offered with a choice of three air cooled units, including a 224 kW (300 hp) Touring, a 283 kW (380 hp) Sport and a 317 kW (425 hp) Cup version. It may only last 23 seconds, but we’re not in a position to criticize.

  • Supercharged BMW M3 by Active Autowerke

    Active Autowerke BMW M3 Coupe
Miami tuning specialist Active Autowerke has created a sledgehammer of a demonstrator vehicle based on the current BMW M3.

Labelled “Blitzkrieg” (lightning war) by its Facebook fans, the Coupe wears a body wrap that draws inspiration from Frank Stella’s 1976 BMW 3.0 CSL Art Car, along with carbon fibre BMW Motorsport front splitters and trunk spoiler and a rear diffuser section by Auto Carbon.

Underneath the hood the company has bolted a prototype Generation 7 Level 3 supercharger kit onto the 4.0-litre V8 engine, which is backed up by a colossal intercooler, a methanol injection system and full Signature exhaust system, which sees output jump from 309 kW (414 hp) to an Aventador-baiting 522 kW (700 hp).

Accompanying chassis upgrades consist of a big brake kit with twelve-piston calipers, full JRZ race-spec suspension and a set of 20-inch custom wheels wrapped in Nitto Invo tyres.

    DMC Tuning Lamborghini Gallardo Soho
Düsseldorf-based DMC Tuning has released further images and a video of its ‘Soho‘ body program for owners of the earlier (2004-2008) Lamborghini Gallardo who desire the looks of the LP570-4 Superleggera.

Constructed completely from carbon fibre, the rejuvenating aero package comprises of a replacement front bumper and mesh, a rear diffuser section, mirror casings and side skirts. DMC can also supply a more extreme SV rear wing, if that’s your bag. Leather retrims and carbon fibre elements are available for the interior.

Performance upgrades for the Gallardo include an ECU software remap, which releases an additional 29 kW (40 hp) and 30 Nm of torque from the 5.2-litre V10 and a stainless steel exhaust system adding a further 21 kW (28 hp) and 50 Nm. On the road that translates to a new top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph).

  • Audi RS 5 Coupe by Vossen

Audi RS 5 Coupe by Vossen
Following on from last year’s Audi S5 video, Vossen Wheels has just released this promo featuring an RS 5 Coupe prowling around the streets of Miami.

Once again the car has been screwed into the ground thanks to an Accuair air-ride suspension system, while the factory RS 5 wheels have been ditched in favour of a set of Vossen VVS-CV4 Concave items, which measure 10.5 x 20-inches and are finished in matte graphite with machined faces.

Powered by Audi’s 331 kW (450 hp) 4.2 FSI, the Coupe hits 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, while the limited top speed of 250 kmh (155 mph) can be raised to 280 km/h (174 mph) upon request.

  • Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG by MKB

    MKB Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG
Winnenden-based Mercedes-Benz tuning specialist MKB has developed a program to boost the CLS 63 AMG.

Already churning out an impressive 415 kW (557 hp) and 800 Nm of torque from its 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 in factory form, MKB remaps the ECU software, increases boost pressure and fits its own manifolds and exhaust system, which sees output jump to 515 kW (700 hp) and 1,000 Nm. On the road that translates to a 0-100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds – up from 4.4s – and an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph), although the company will increase that figure to 340 km/h (211 mph) – tyres permitting.

Superior Automotive Design Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series
The Florida-based styling specialist Superior Automotive Design was recently asked by a customer to put a twist on his brand new C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series, and this is the result.

Changes to the heavy-duty 336 kW (457 hp) model, which are relatively subtle yet effective, comprise of a 3M matte gunmetal grey body wrap, powder coated wheels in gloss black and a few painted accents. The finishing touch was to fit out the entire door jambs in carbon fibre to match the other carbon components on the car, such as the spoilers, side skirts and interior elements.
