Filipe Albuquerque drives the Audi A1 quattro

Audi has released this new video featuring the brilliant A1 quattro making the most of its all-wheel-drive system.

Usually seen piloting an Audi A5 DTM race car for Team Rosberg in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters series, this time Albuquerque tackles a selection of high alpine roads in the company’s A1 quattro, to see what it’s capable of.

Propelled by a 2.0 TFSI engine, which produces 188 kW (256 hp) and 350 Nm of torque, just 333 units of the high-powered baby hatchback will be produced.

This would make the perfect base for a WRC car.
