Volkswagen Golf R by Cam Shaft

Cam Shaft, the oddly-named Kempen styling specialist, has revealed its latest project based on the fiesty Volkswagen Golf R.

The Golf was tuned jointly with MTB-vehicle engineering, who applied their Stage 2 program to the 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI unit. This includes remapped ECU software, platinum spark plugs and a new exhaust system with downpipe and high-flow Sportkat, resulting in an improved output of 242 kW (325 hp) and 430 Nm of torque – up from 199 kW (270 hp) and 350 Nm.

Other upgrades include a H&R suspension kit, Tarox F2000 brake discs with sport pads and a set of O.Z Racing’s Ultraleggera wheels, measuring 8 x 19-inches and wrapped in 235/35 Dunlop rubber. Cam Shaft complete the aesthetics with a camouflage-style Electric Orange body foil.
