Following on from January’s sneaky preview, Rutesheim-based Porsche tweaker speedART has given us the low-down on its SP91-R 425 program for the new 991 Carrera S model.
The SP91-R aero package consists of a front chin spoiler, side skirts, a one-piece rear wing that fasten to the factory item and a diffuser section for the rear bumper. The new lightweight modular LSC-FORGED wheels are sized 9 and 11 x 21-inches and feature a centre star design in a silver, matt black or gunmetal finish. Various suspension upgrades are available for the 991 depending on the owner’s requirements; from a lowering spring kit to a fully adjustable coilover set-up – suitable for circuit use. The company’s immensely practical airlift system can also be fitted.
speedART can provide an ECU modification, air filter and full stainless steel exhaust system including high-flow cats, manifolds and a sound switch resulting in a hike of 19 kW (25 hp) and 35 Nm (26 lb/ft). The brakes are modified accordingly, with 380 mm discs gripped by six- and four-piston calipers.
Moving inside, the cabin has been reupholstered in a mixture of leather and alcantara finished with diamond pattern stitching – even reaching the steering wheel. Judging by the interior, this car was obviously photographed just before it was handed back to its colour blind owner.
