  • Michael Schumacher drives the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3

    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3
Seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher has been filmed driving the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.

The gullwinged racer features an aero package that adds 2-inches to the car’s width while the 409 kW (548 hp) 6.2-litre V8 engine is virtually identical to the one found in its road-going counterpart.

Schumacher would be a great addition to such series as the FIA GT3 European Championship, FIA GT1 World Championship and ADAC GT Masters, but we’d love to seem him compete in a DTM car.

  • Porsche 991 GT3 RS spotted at the Nurburgring

    Porsche 991 GT3 RS
Here’s a video from fastsportscardriver, who spotted what appears to be the next generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS during testing at the Nurburgring.

We can see why he calls it a GT2, but its doesn’t sound turbocharged to us – especially when you compare it to the 997 GT2 sharing the circuit – and the centrally-mounted exhaust would suggest that it is actually the more extreme sibling of the 991 GT3. The front fender flares are also saying GT3 RS, while the side air intakes could be there as a decoy or simply because the RS will utilize the wider bodyshell of the current 911 Turbo, so it makes a perfect vehicle to base the test mules on.

Rumoured to make its debut in Geneva next year, expect the hardcore track weapon to produce over 373 kW (500 hp).
