Getting paid to drive any one of these cars would be a pleasure, but to be handed the keys to an iconic Ferrari F40, Jaguar XJ220, Noble M600 and Porsche’s insanely powerful 911 GT2 RS is something that most of us can only dream about. R18 TDI BENEFITS FROM AUDI CONNECT
Thanks to Audi connect, the Ingolstadt company’s road cars, such as the A8 and A7 Sportback, are capable of getting online. Initially, basic information such as tyre pressures could be relayed to back to the pits, but fast-forward to 2011 and the cars can collect an amazing 16 Megabytes of data per lap, which helps the team to monitor everything from engine mapping to brake balance, before relaying instructions back to the driver, who can make corrections to the car’s setup via his steering wheel.[Source: Audi Motorsport]
