Lamborghini is releasing an extreme road version of its racing car from the single-make series, the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale.
Limited to just 150 units, the Super Trofeo Stradale’s appearance is dominated by that large rear wing – taken directly from the race car. Constructed from carbon fibre, it is fully adjustable and can offer three times the amount of downforce than the regular LP 570-4 item. That wing, along with the carbon mirrors, rear diffuser, air intakes, high gloss black wheels and optional black roof provide a great contrast to the “Rosso Mars” paint finish shown. The body can also be specified in “Grigio Telesto” or “Bianco Monocerus” on request.
Weighing in at 1340 kg – 70 kg down on the regular LP 570-4 – the Super Trofeo Stradale cracks 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and 200 km/h just 10.4 s later, before topping out at 320 Km/h (198 mph).
The inside of the cabin is trimmed in a mixture of black and “Rosso Mars” Alcantara, including the carbon fibre racing seats, door panels and centre console. Components such as the instrument panels frames, handbrake frame, glovebox handle and door handles can be ordered in carbon fibre too.
Other options include carbon fibre ceramic brakes, a roll cage, 4-point safety belts and fire extinguisher. Sweet.
