    Volkswagen has released a few video promos offering us a good look around its new up! city car. Currently, all models are powered by a new generation of three-cylinder 1.0 L petrol units in 44 kw/60 hp and 55 kw/75 hp guise, with a 68 hp natural gas model arriving later. (more…)

  • Audi’s e-tron Spyder in Malibu


    Following on from the new e-tron Spyder photos, Audi has released this offical video of the car in Malibu, California. The Spyder is powered by a 300 hp twin-turbo V6 TDI which drives the rear axle, and two electric motors producing a total of 64 kW at the front. The car accelerates to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. (more…)

  • R-Line package for Volkswagen’s Polo


    If your budget can’t quite stretch to a GTI, Volkswagen Germany has produced an R-Line package for its Polo model. The program, designed by Volkswagen R GmbH, features more aggressive bumpers – including front fog lights and a rear diffuser, a roof spoiler, side skirts, a high gloss black radiator grille with R-Line badging, chrome tailpipe trim and ‘Mallory’ alloy wheels available in 16- and 17-inch diameter. Expect to pay € 1,450 to upgrade your Polo Comfortline, and € 1,010 for the Polo Highline.

    Inside the cabin, there’s a set of sports seats, offered in a mixture of Alcantara and faux leather or Volkswagen’s ‘Kyalami’ fabric weave, a black roof lining, leather steering wheel, and aluminium pedals and sill trims bearing the R-Line logo. Prices are € 855 for the Comfort Line, and € 450 for the Highline.

  • Senner diffuser for the S line Audi A1


    Ingelheim am Rhein’s Senner Tuning has designed a replacement diffuser for Audi A1s built to S line specification. Constructed from glassfibre reinforced plastic (GRP), Senner says it was created for S line owners who wanted to fit the company’s twin exhaust system, but couldn’t – due to the style of the factory panel.

    The new diffuser is screwed and bonded in place of the original one, and retains the Audi reflectors. It’s priced at € 299, while the stainless steel exhaust with twin 90 mm tailpipes will set you back € 495.
