  • Lewis Hamilton returns to Top Gear

    Lewis Hamilton on Top Gear
If you missed last night’s new episode of Top Gear, apart from Matt LeBlanc, Eric clapton and Bruce Willis helping to test the new Kia Cee-apostrophe-d, a certain Mr Lewis Hamilton also made an appearance.

Clearly still irked that his name wasn’t atop the leader board, the Mercedes F1 driver wanted to put this little matter to rest, one and for all. We won’t tell you if he managed to achieve his goal, but he did.

If you haven’t got time to wait, you can skip to segment four of the video.

MINI has just released this video featuring Guerlain Chicherit as he performs a 360° backflip in a heavily-modified Countryman.

  • Voomeran Volkswagen up!

    Voomeran Volkswagen up!
Apart from ABT’s offering, modifiers appear to be keeping a distance from Volkswagen’s up! model, but the Japanese styling specialist Voomeran has now put its own twist on the baby citycar.

The company’s aero package includes smoothed, deeper front and rear bumpers with optional foglights, side skirts and a set of wheel arch extensions. Although this particular car has been lowered, the arches have been designed to sit 10 mm lower at the front and 15 mm lower at the rear than the factory items, and also add 20 mm to the overall width of the car.

Finally, there’s a choice of ten different colours of side stripes, while the wheels pictures here are RS multi-piece DP Cup items.

  • APR Motorsport teases new Audi supercharger

    RS 5 supercharger
Alabama-based APR Motorsport has previewed the company’s new supercharger kit to suit Audi’s current RS 4 and RS 5 models.

No specifications were released with the image, but APR already has a Stage III system available for the previous (B7) RS 4, which helps to lift output from 309 kw (414 hp) and 430 Nm of torque to 425 kW (570 hp) and 691 Nm. So, given that its successor produces 331 kW (450 hp) in factory guise, we can’t wait to see what this totally new unit can achieve, which features an integrated ‘charger & manifold just like the OEM versions.
