    Here are the first official images of Audi’s eagerly-awaited RS Q3 SUV.

    Looking virtually identical to the concept seen almost a year ago, this production version takes styling cues from the RS 6 by featuring additional silver detailing around the front air intakes, on the mirror casings, rear spoiler and diffuser edging. It also looks much better with the colour-matched side trim and wheel arch extensions.

  • Irmscher previews Opel Astra GTC ‘Sport 45’

    Irmscher Opel Astra GTC 'Sport 45'
    Remshalden-based Irmscher has released details of a special Opel Astra GTC program marking 45 years of the styling specialist’s existence.

    Due to make its first appearance in Geneva, the Opel Astra GTC ‘Sport 45’ features an Irmscher radiator grille with carbon fibre bar, a front spoiler, side skirts, roof spoiler, rear diffuser section and exclusive badging. New sports springs drop the car by 30 mm, while the original wheels have made way for a set of high-gloss black Evo Star wheels in a 20-inch diameter.

    Inside the cabin, the seats, door panels and armrest are trimmed in black leather Nappa leather with body-coloured stitching, while the floor mats are embossed with the model’s name. There’s also a set of aluminium pedals thrown in for good measure.

    Performance-wise, the company remaps the turbocharged 1.6-litre engine’s software, taking output from 132 kW (180 hp) and 230 Nm of torque to 147 kW (200 hp) and 280 Nm.

    Just 45 examples will be built. So there.

    Tuning specialist PP-Performance has been working on the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG, developing its own version of the company’s Edition 507 model.

    Retaining the factory car’s block, PP borrows the larger intake manifold, camshafts, crankshaft and pistons from the SLS 63 AMG, adding its own Stage 3 ECU software, downpipes, catalysts and exhaust system. Those tweaks result in a new output of 440 kW (590 hp) – up from 336 kW (457 hp) – and an improved top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).

    Mercedes-Benz has announced details of a special edition S-Class, the AMG Sport Edition, which will be sold exclusively in the United Kingdom.

    Building on the already impressive specification of the S-Class, the S 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport Edition features the AMG body package comprising of front and rear aprons and subtle side skirts, AMG five-twin-spoke alloy wheels in a 20-inch diameter, painted brake calipers with the company logo, illuminated sill plates and an electric panoramic glass sunroof.

    Moving inside, the cabin wears Black Ash Wood trim, AMG floor mats, a wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel and sports pedals with stainless steel studs.

    Standard equipment includes the Harmon Kardon Front Seat Entertainment system with Split View screen, DAB digital radio, 14 high-performance speakers with additional amplifiers, Keyless Go and a reversing camera.

    Available to order now, pricing starts from £69,995 on the road.

    Audi A3 by Rieger Tuning
    Following on from the recently revealed A4 kit, Bavarian stylinghouse Rieger Tuning has released images of its program to suit Audi’s new A3 model.

    The aero package includes a new front fascia with central splitter and more aggressive air intakes reminiscent of the TT RS, side skirts and a rear apron with diffuser section, which can also be specified in a carbon fibre-look finish, if that’s your bag.

    This particular car also features KW coilover suspension and a set of Lamborghini-style alloy wheels, which measure 8.5 x 19-inches and are wrapped in with 235/35 Vredestein Vorti tyres.

    You may remember that Mercedes-Benz had announced an Edition 1 version of its new 265 kW (360 hp) A 45 AMG during its recent reveal? Well the company has now released of images of this cheeky little vehicle.

    Exclusive features include the AMG aero package with additional flics in the front apron and a larger front splitter and rear spoiler, cirrus white paintwork with matte grey striping on the hood, roof and sides, red detailing on the radiator grille, mirrors and rear spoiler, red brake calips and matte black 8 x 19-inch alloys with 235/35 tyres.

    Interior additions include ‘Edition 1′ badging, AMG Performance seats and steering wheel trimmed in nappa leather/DINAMICA microfibre and an AMG embossed E-SELECT lever.
