  • Mercedes-Benz SL BlackEdition V2 by Prior Design


    Prior Design, the Kamp-Lintfort styling specialist, has released details of its BlackEdition V2 widebody program for the R230 Mercedes-Benz SL-class.

    Manufactured from high quality Dura-Flex FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic), the extreme aero package consists of a new front bumper with detachable splitter, ventilated hood, replacement fenders, side skirts, rear wheel arch extensions, and a rear bumper with air outlets and diffuser section.

    The kit is priced at €12900, with the optional boot lid spoiler costing an additional €599.

  • RevoZport previews C63 RBS II


    Chai Wan-based tuning specialist RevoZport has previewed its C63 RBS II program for the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe, Saloon and Estate models.

    Constructed from carbon fibre, the aero package includes a lightweight, ventilated hood, aggressive front spoiler with integrated splitter, side skirts, rear bumper flares, a diffuser section and trunk spoiler, with Coupe owners also offered the option of a more purposeful Black Series-style wing.

  • New engines and equipment for the Volkswagen Golf


    Volkswagen has announced new engine options and extra equipment for its recently revealed Golf model.

    The five new engine options, which all feature BlueMotion Technology and are mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG transmission, begin with a 77 kW (103 hp) 1.2 TSI, a 90 kW (121 hp) 1.4 TSI and a 103 kW (138 hp) 1.4 TSI with ACT (active cylinder management).

    For the diesel fans there’s a 77 kW (103 hp) 1.6 TDI and a 110 kW (148 hp) 2.0 TDI. Both powerplants can be specified with the company’s 4Motion all-wheel drive system if required.

    Finally, the driver assistance pack includes Bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, adaptive cruise control, City Emergency Braking function and ‘Dynamic Light Assist’ dynamic main beam control. Available as an option on the Comfortline and Highline equipment lines, pricing starts at €1,690.

  • Four Rings Performance Audi S4 at Bonneville


    Here’s a couple of videos from the guys at Quattro World and eGarage, featuring Jeff Gerner’s clinically insane Audi S4 hitting an average speed of 236.599 mph.

    The owner of Four Rings Performance in Missouri prepared the twenty-year-old machine with his team in an effort to create the world’s fastest saloon, and this footage covers Jeff’s mission at the iconic Bonneville Salt Flats. Being a Ur-S4, means there’s that glorious 5-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood, which has been tuned to produce nearly 1100 all wheel horsepower. Makes us wonder why Audi took so long in bringing a 5-cylinder turbo unit back its fold, in the TT RS.

  • Porsche Classics at the Castle


    Here’s a new video from Porsche taking a look at the recent Classics at the Castle vent held in the grounds of Hedingham Castle in Essex. This year the annual event is marking 40 years of the RS by gathering a collection of 911 RS models together in celebration.
