  • AUDI A1 BY SENNER TUNING

Once again, Benno Senner, president of the Company Senner Tuning AG, and his team have been tweaking Audi’s baby A1 model. Basing the project on a teak brown metallic 1.4 TFSI S-Tronic model, Senner started on the engine – utilizing chip tuning and a new exhaust with twin symmetrical outlets, helping to release 165 hp.

Externally, the car wears a Rieger Tuning front apron and lip, and duotone sill extensions. At the rear you’ll find an S-Line apron, modified to accommodate the new exhaust. KW Supplied the height-adjustable suspension, while the Barracuda Tzunamee rims are a monumental 9×19-inches in size.

This car, with just 50 km on the clock, is available for 36,590.00 Euros.

  • AUDI A5 CABRIOLET BY PROJECT KAHN

Following on from its Audi A5 Coupe conversion, Bradford-based tuners Project Kahn has moved on to the roofless version. The styling package is based around a pair of R8-influenced vented bumpers and a new rear spoiler (not seen in the photos for some reason). The new stainless quad tailpipe exhaust looks pretty nice, as do those 21-inch RSX matte black wheels, especially when combined with the lowered ride height. The bumper lips, rear diffuser and mirrors all have a billet steel finish to them.

Customers can buy a completed Kahn car, based on the s-line model, for £44,875 (€50,937).

  • THE NEW MERCEDES-BENZ SLK BY CARLSSON

Renowned Mercedes-Benz tuning house, Carlsson has wasted no time in creating a range of upgrades for the new SLK-Class. Externally there’s an aero kit based around a front and rear apron – with a diffuser, and an ‘RS’ front lip which is available in carbon fibre. To say that the polished stainless steel front grille kit is unsubtle, would be an understatement.

The car’s looks are further transformed when fitted with a -30 mm suspension kit and replacement wheels; packages between 18 and 20-inch are available, which we quite like. Inside, there’s an embossed aluminium gear selector and pedals, and inlay kits in wood or carbon, while Carlsson’s upholstery shop promises to finish the interior in any colour and material of your choice – at a cost. However, the ‘basic’ package involves the retrimming of the car’s seats and door panels in Nappa for 3900 Euros.

The company’s C-Tronic engine tuning kit caters for various models, from the SLK 200 CGI (from 184 hp up to 211 hp or 224 hp) to the SLK 250 CGI (from 204 hp up to 239 hp).

  • AUDI AT WÖRTHERSEE 2011

Video from Audi recapping its time at this year’s Wörthersee Treffen in Austria. Most companies from the Volkswagen Group bring something a little special to the party, and Audi pulled out all the stops for the show’s 30th year – a 503 hp Audi A1 clubsport quattro. It’s just a one-off concept for now, but it doesn’t take much imagination to picture the little beast on a WRC stage, does it? (more…)
