JE Design Audi Q7 S line
Leingarten-based styling specialist JE Design has released further details of its body kit for Audi Q7 models built to the S line trim level.Constructed from a mixture of polyurethane (PU) and a fibre-reinforced composite, the kit consists of a front spoiler, rear apron, tailgate spoiler, c-pillar covers, and lower door/sill panels which provide a continuous body line between the front and rear wheel arch extensions, providing an increase in body width by 60 mm at the front and 80 mm at the rear. Diamond-shaped tailpipes complete the look.
A choice of spacers and various styles of wheels in sizes from 9 x 20- to 10 x 22-inches are available, along with the company’s lowering module which offers a drop of up to 35 mm.
JE Design can also provide engine tuning options, for example, thanks to the optimization of the 4.2 TDI’s engine management system, output rises to 250 kW (335 hp) and 895 Nm (660 lb-ft) of torque; enough to carry this heavyweight SUV to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.1 seconds.

Skoda Superb Turbo by Rothe Motorsport
Motorvision, the online car magazine, recently got behind the wheel of a high-speed Skoda Superb. Tweaked by Frankfurt-based tuning specialist Rothe Motorsport, its restrained looks hide a big surprise.Starting out with Skoda’s 194 kW (260 hp) 3.6 L AWD model, Rothe exchanges the engine for one of its turbocharged 3.2 L V6 units, as previously seen in the Golf R32, and also adds a full stainless steel exhaust system. The result is a Superb that produces 384 kW (515 hp) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque – enough for a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 3.8 seconds, while the 200 km/h mark appears in just 13.3 s. Top speed is 305 km/h (189 mph).
The only real giveaway to this car’s potential is those 19-inch OZ alloys, and the Audi RS 6 brakes behind them. Sensibly, Rothe also fitted a Bilstein coilover suspension kit.
Interested parties will need to stump up € 82,000. (more…)
